Assessing Road Impacts and Mitigation Options for Wildlife in Kafue National Park and the Greater Kafue Ecosystem, Zambia

The Center for Large Landscape Conservation partnered with the Zambian Carnivore Programme to conduct a comprehensive assessment to understand exactly where and how the M9 Highway, through Kafue National Park in Zambia, is putting wildlife at risk. Through roadkill and animal count surveys, the researchers identified the priority road sections to apply mitigation measures.
