Read MoreState Wildlife Action Plans (SWAPs) are important vehicles for connectivity conservation. State wildlife agencies must complete State Wildlife Action Plans (SWAPs) to qualify for funding from the State Wildlife Grants program, which was established in 2000 to support the conservation of at-risk species and their habitat. Since that time, SWAPs have become recognized as “conservation blueprints” that compile the best available science, identify conservation priorities, and promote coordination across various partners. This report provides SWAP planners and partners with a comprehensive “menu” of connectivity actions and recommendations for addressing connectivity in SWAP planning and implementation.
