Sara Pearce is joining CLLC through her term of service with AmeriCorps and Big Sky Watershed Conservation Corps. She will be acting as a Conservation Intern with the Climate Resilience Program, providing a helping hand in education and outreach, project planning and development, and community support in the changing world.

In December of 2019, Sara graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with her B.S. in Natural Resource and Environmental Management. She has experience as a student assistant with the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources’ endangered invertebrate lab, while also volunteering on a translocation project for Black-footed Albatross at the James Campbell National Wildlife Refuge.

Born and raised in the Sonoran desert of Arizona, Sara is eager to spend her AmeriCorps service here in Montana while discovering new interests along the way! In her free time she can be found enjoying a sunset, hiking, or caring for her pet rabbit and many house plants.
